Dubai Museum
Giving visitors an insight into the recent history of this fast changing city, the Dubai museum displays the past in a selection of state of the art animatronic tableaux, and allows visitors to experience what Dubai was like before oil was discovered less than a century ago.
Wild Wadi Water Park
Located next door to the famous Jumeirah Beach Hotel, the Wild Wadi Water Park is described as being one of the most technically advanced amusement parks in the world. Featuring a wide range of water slides and attractions, the park is a great day out for all the family.
Mall of the Emirates Ski Slope
Contained within a striking space age building that makes up part of the world's third largest shopping mall, the indoor ski slope at the mall of the emirates is one of the wonders of the modern world, and allows you to experience the icy chill of an Alpine resort in the heat of Dubai.
Desert Safari
One of the most memorable evenings out anywhere, a desert safari can be booked in advance of travel, and will typically include a hair raising blast over the sand dunes in a 4WD vehicle followed by a barbeque and entertainment under the stars. Safaris take place in the Dubai Desert Conservation Area, only licensed operators such as Arabian Adventures are allowed to organise them.
Dubai International Marina
Located at the southern end of Jumeirah Beach, the Dubai International Marina is the place to go for water sport in Dubai. Well equipped with a huge range of boats to choose from, and lessons available from experts, the marina also features a number of restaurants and shops.
